Adieu

Ashly's teacher quit. She called me up at home and disclosed the top secret info. I has heartbroken as she. She couldn't deal with the politics no more. This is Ashly's (and mine) favorite teacher. She did soooo much with them and Ashly always made stuff for her. It's always "aunty francis, this, and aunty francis that" but in a good way. There is a new group of teachers with one new male teacher. So far, she's not having any meltdowns. They introduced the main teacher a few weeks ago, another one last week and a male this week. Their TA was also let go. I think some of the kids can feel the difference. I introduced her as the "sensitive" one, as she is, but always obeys rules and would actually rat out another kid. She doesn't like to disappoint, therefore, does what she's told. No more dress-up, dance and songs. Now it's FRACTIONS and more academics. OMG! Where's the creativity? So long Aunty Francis. You'll be missed.

The manager for the local grocery store retired. I didn't know him personally, but would see him approximately 4x's a week (yes, i shop that often, as i'm a poor food planner). So long Clarence.

I'm going to LA next week for 1-1/2 weeks. The school is closed for a 2 weeks break (school is usually year-round). We're doing family bbq's, fishing, maybe vegas, maybe the wild animal park, for sure swimming at my sister's and who knows what else. So long Work.

I've also taken a lot of time off without pay since there are few patients during the summer, and who cares? As long as I can pay for food and tuition. So long paycheck.
