Yesterday was 114 degrees in Montclaire. We went to the mall to cool off before Steve came for dinner. The girls were a little fussy, but manageable. Steve came with his girlfriend Bren and the kids loved him. Catherine was apprehensive the whole day as she was terrified of him from small kid time. Now, a little older, she approached him cautiously, and within minutes, was all over him. No more aunty ann. Aunty Ann is out, to be replaced by uncle steve. I leave to go back home today and as i write this, there was a small earthquake. Definitely a sign that it's time to go. Played the Lotto and only won the Mega number. Jennifer will have to claim my winnings. I'm sure they're not millions. All in all, it was a terrific "family obligation" time and I can't wait til I return in November.
