- I'm originally from smoggy L.A. but now live in sunny Honolulu. I've been living here for 20 years, and it seems like it'll be another 19. I have an awesome daughter). I also work with psychiatric kids(yikes!)I'm not complicated although one would think so and am pretty easy to get along with (unless you mess with my kid). I hate phoniness - so don't pretend to like me and then talk smack behind my back. Or pretend to like someone else, but talk smack to me about them. My family's my core and my close friends are my ice cream toppings. Everyone should have a little bit of dimsum in their lifetime. I also refer to myself as an "organic temple". Be green. Be organic. Be nice.

The Response
Ok, so Sister Joan of Arc calls and explains that Miss Nancy decided 2 days ago that she wanted to further her schooling. Miss Lianne (who Ashly's had before) will be teaching the class. Ok. I'm a little relieved. Pick up Ashly today and who do I see? Sister Joan of Arc. Anywhoo, we get to talking and she asks if I know anyone who wants to fill the aide position for Ashly's class. I jokingly say ME, that I have mornings off, yadayada. She tells me to think about it, it doesn't pay much and she'll run an ad in a week. Yikes! What do I do? Ashly hated it when I left her when i volunteered there. But it would give me more time to be with her. My morning walks, shops and blogging would dissipate. So here i am....very, very confused. Agghh!

Ann,
If you want to fill the aide position, go ahead and do it. You had fun when you volunteered there before! Think of all that additional mother/daughter time. I'm sure you can fit blogging and exercising into your schedule elsewhere.
